What's the story with the name?
We're a small, agile team that builds browser games worth actually finishing — not ones designed to keep you finishing them forever.
Two finished apps, three betas on the shelf. All free to play.
Galloping Toad Studios stays small and moves fast — no investors, no roadmap slides, no growth team. Just games built because the good ones are getting harder to find between the ads and the dark patterns.
Every app we make is built to work the moment you open it — no mandatory download, no update wall in your way. If it earns its keep, it picks up merch or a dedicated app store release. If it doesn't, we say so instead of pretending otherwise.
Toad was a fluffy Westie terrier who had two side jobs: mascot and label icon for the family's hobby nano-brewery and winery, Galloping Toad Brewery and Galloping Toad Winery. “Galloping” was never a metaphor. It's just what he did.
When it came time to name the studio, we didn't pick a new name so much as borrow the one that already worked. He's been running across the logo ever since. Good boy, Toad.
MeThinks and Figgy Puzzles are the finished ones. The other three are playable betas that live right here on the site: free, no account, no download. If people play them, they graduate.

A picture-tile swap puzzle with a fig for a mascot and a fact behind every image. Easy to pick up, with a Daily Figgy streak for players who want a reason to come back.
Play them and tell us what you think. That feedback decides what gets finished.
Ten rounds, thirty seconds each: read two answers to the same question and pick the human one. Harder than it sounds, more humbling than you'd like.
Three true, bizarre facts and one convincing lie per round. Build a streak, keep your nerve, and don't trust the one that sounds the most made up.
Hosted by Omi, a deadpan fig in a bow tie (Figgy's grandfather, apparently). Three daily rounds worth up to 100 points each: guess the year or number, remember the shelf, spot the odd one out.
